Working with volunteers from the 50+ Churches that are a part of the Surry Baptist Association, Jessup Grove men – and some women – meet on the first Saturday of each month starting in October and ending in March, to work in the Firewood Ministry.
Wood and splitters are provided — Willing hands are needed.
Volunteers meet at 206 Fieldcrest Lane, Pilot Mountain at 8 am to process wood lengths into firewood. The firewood is taken to the Surry Baptist Association Office at 364 Welch Road, Mount Airy for pick up and use by those in need.
