CHOIR PRACTICE
There will be no Choir Practice this week.

MISSING BLANKET
There is a blanket missing. It is red and has 'Cook Medical' on it. It became missing Homecoming Sunday. If you know where it may be, please see Pam Jessup.

BAPTIST WOMEN'S MEETING
The Baptist Women will meet Monday evening at 7 pm at the church.

SENIOR GATHERING
The Seniors of the church will meet Wednesday, September 18th, at 11 am. Bring a dish or snack to share. We will have food, music, devotion, and games. Please bring a small prize for the games.

EVANGELISM CLASS

On Wednesday, September 11th at 7 pm, we will join Westfield Baptist Church - 6713 Westfield Road, Westfield, NC 27053 - for an Evangelism Class. A meal will be served at 6:15 pm. (PLEASE NOTE: There will not be any Bible Study or Youth Gathering at JGBC on September 11th.) 

GO TELL AMERICA CRUSADE
September 8th thru 11th, the Go Tell America Crusade will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park - 691 West Lebanon Street, Mt. Airy, 27030 - at 7:00 pm nightly. For more information: Blue Ridge Go Tell Crusade Facebook Page

MUSIC IN THE PARK

Music in the Park, Sunday September 29th, from 4:00-7:00pm, at the Armfield Civic Center Amphitheater - 873 W 52 Byp, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. Music -, Food, Face-painting, and Yard Games. Special Guests Jonathan Bledsoe, Anointed by Grace, and David Goins. Hosted By Westfield Baptist Church. (Help is needed working that day or any way you can help. Let Brian Aman know if you can help.)

COMMITTEE GUIDELINES
The church is asking all committees to create guidelines for their committee. We would like these guidelines to be ready by January and turned into the Deacons.

BAPTIST MEN COINS FOR A CAUSE
The Baptist Men have placed a container at the back of the church for you to contribute your loose change for the ongoing Coins for a Cause fundraiser. Your coin donations are opportunities to financially participate in the various 2024 Baptist Men's mission projects.

BEVERAGES IN THE SANCTUARY:
We ask that you not bring beverages into the Sanctuary - the carpet is getting stained. This request is per the protocol approved by the church several years ago. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

RESERVING THE FACILITIES:  Reservation Requests for the Fellowship Hall or the Picnic Shelter are now made thru Ricky or Leslie Palmer (see church directory for phone number).

PRAYER TEAM - PRAYER REQUESTS   Sanctuary Prayer Request Cards may be placed in the Offering Plate, on the altar during the Time of Invitation, or in the Prayer Box upon exiting the sanctuary. On-line Prayer Requests may be submitted via email here. Please use 'Prayer Request' in the subject line.
